The Diploma in Bharatanatyam offers foundational training over one year (two semesters) to develop essential skills and theoretical knowledge in classical dance. It serves as a preparatory course for further studies or professional development in Bharatanatyam.
Candidates aged 15 or above with a 10th pass and a minimum of 4-5 years of Bharatanatyam training.
To develop advanced Bharatanatyam technique and stage presence, build understanding of dance theory and encourage personal artistry, preparing students for higher learning or performance.
- Module 1: Fundamentals & Adavus Revision
- Module 2: Intermediate Repertoire (Alaripu, Jatiswaram, etc.)
- Module 3: Advanced Performance & Theory
- Final Project: Stage Performance Preparation
